Patient Support Groups
Support groups are a great place for you to share your questions, concerns and experiences. You can also learn from a great deal other patients' success stories and challenges.

Groups are confidential and led by peer patient facilitators offering a relaxed atmosphere. Medical, psychological and nutrition professionals are on-site to offer support and answer questions.

Upcoming Special Events

July 16, 2008: Round table special event—Providers to offer one-on-one coaching and questions, will include exercise, MD, NP and dietitians.

August 20, 2008: Special event on relationships

Groups are organized according to length of time post-surgery:

Preop to 3 Months Post-Surgery, 4 Months and Beyond Post-Surgery, Emotional Support,
Education/Guest Speaker (when scheduled)
Adjustable Gastric Band Support
Every First Monday of the month (Except Holidays)
6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Preop to 3 months Post-Surgery, 4 Months and Beyond Post-Surgery, Emotional Support, and Adjustable Gastric Band Support
Every Third Wednesday of the month (Except Holidays)
6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Tucson Support Groups 10am-12pm:

July support group cancelled due to holiday.
